1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
To create my film trailer I had to consider many of the conventions of other horror movies and horror movie trailers.
The title of my film, 'JUSTICE' this name gives you the audience an idea of what the film will be about, but also creates a sense that there is something not quite right, and there could be a chance that there will be some evil person in the film.
The locations I used an old church, this is a very eery place and as it is also set at night it gives a feeling that the evil comes out at night. This is conventional of many horror movies, e.g 'The Ring' or 'The Grudge'. This adds to the horror feeling that is created through the trailer, which will ultimatly make the end product more profitable as it will appeal to more people who enjoy horror movies.
The costumes I used was very important in craeting the right setting and ideas about the movie. As it is set in a church, and a grave yard, the male protagonist who turns evil at night is seen wearing religious clothing, like that of a priest. This adds to the horror and terror as you would not want to expect that a priest would be an evil person. This is also another convention of horror movies as in many horror movies it is the nice person, the person who you can trust who becomes the evil sinister character who causes terror. This is represented in such films as, 'Hannibal' and 'The Red Dragon'.
Camerawork and editing. In the editing process, for the text I used white text on a black background. This makes the text stand out and does not look happy or as though it is for a romantic trialer for example. By doing this I add to the tension which the audience are feeling, which ultiamtly makes the trailer more thrilling. For the first shot of the central male protagonist I zoom right in to a closeup of his face. This is quite shocking, and adds to the tension and sinister feeling that the audience feel. This also makes it clear that it is a horror movie, as this is something many horror movies and horror movie trailers do in order to shock their audience.
For the title font and style I decided to use a font that would stand out, I think it is clear that also the text is strong and does not look fluffy or happy as previously mentioned. The whole style of the text creates a feeling that is not comforting to the audience, which again means that the audience know that this trailer is for a horror movie. This is another convention of horror movies, for example 'Silence of the Lambs' who use straight bold writing like 'Jusitice' to make the title stand out and make the tension for the audience increase.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
I have made a good link between my poster, magazine cover and movie trailer. i had the idea of keeping them all on the same lines and keeping them unique so the products can be easily recognizable. I have used a strong combination of my main product with my ancillary texts, as I have made a link between all three. For example, in aim of utilising a particular brand style, I have combined visual aspects of our music video to my poster and magazine cover.

Both of those have the same title which is easy to recognise. I have kept it the same so its recognisable everywhere. Also the picture its pretty much the same. I have not put the same picture in becouse it has to be a little bit different. If i didnt change that around a little people will not be able to see anything new and they will be stuck with one picture. The shadings on the both products are nearly the same. the Thing i like the most about it is the unique picture and the title of the movie.
This is the scene where i have shown the audiance who is in the movie and how scary it is. This shot is dark which i have done on purpose to show the audiance that this is about the dark horror movie. Also i have shown that who is the main character and what he looks like which is really important. However the main reason i have shown this scene is becouse i have put his face on the front cover of the magazine and the poster as you can see its the same.
This is the time in the trailer where i show the full person and what he looks like. My aim was that he should look scary and like hes going to kill someone which i think i have managed to achive. Aslo by showing this shot it can make the audiance think about this movie and see if they like what they see or not. Just by standing behind these two girls we know that hes up to something suspicius and that hes going todo something bad. This shot connect perfectly with the poster and the magazine cover as you can clearly see his face and recognize him.
This shot is taking to show the action and how it fits the movie genre. I have shown how the main charachter kills the little girl with the bat, he uses variaty of wepons and he will do anything to kill his target. I have recorded this to show audiance the existance of violence in this movie which is a key to the horror movie.
The main reason i have put this writting is becouse the same one is the oone on the poster. I have put this stright in the biggining of the movie so the audinace can recognize the movie straight from the start.
I have put this Title in the end of the movie trailer rather than at the biginning just to make sure that people remember what movie it is. I think by doing this i have left the major impact on the audiance and that they will remember what the movie is called and what is all about.

What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
RESARCH
Blogger
The blog (http://www.blogger.com/) has been a significant part of the production of my movie trailer poster and magazine, as I used it to record all aspects of research and planning. To begin with, in terms of movie tralier I used the blog as a way to keep record of all I and my groups planning to show our journey and how we developed and strengthened narrative/costume/actor ideas. Furthermore, I used the blog to record the times which I spend to plan my movie trailer, and eventually shoot and edit. As a result, the planning and shooting of the movie trailer was relatively painless. The blog was also useful because it enabled me to upload photos of possible locations straight onto it, so we could sit down and looks through each shot and decide whether or not the location would be suitable to use or not. Moreover, in terms of recording planning for both my poster and magaizne cover, the blog was great as it enabled me to upload possible covers. As a result, I was able to upload as many possibilities as I wanted to, and it made it easier to decide which faces were the strongest as other people were able to look at my work simply from logging onto the website.
Google
I have used Google in many different ways mainly for simple resarch like resarch what the movies is all about and what i had to do to make my movie, poster and magazine cover perfect. I used Google to research practically everything; genre, teaser trailers, images, posters and film magazines. Being so easy to resarch something like this has made it so much more easier for me to carry on with my projct with no major difficulties.
Youtube
Youtube is very usefull search video engine which has allowed me to find any video i wanted to see. This has helped look at the videos i wanted to see and look at the videos that i wanted to learn from and use the same kind of recorging for my movie. It aslo enabled me to see many dialogs, short clips, speaches and many different things.
EQUIPMENT
I and my group used a Panasonic SDR-S50 digital camera alongside a tripod to shoot movie trailer video. The type of camera used was good as i was able to tilt the camera when necessary in order to gain more interesting shots, zoom in/out or keep a very steady shot when using a tripod. Digital camera also allowed me to review raw footage and thus make progress on the construction of movie trailer. Furthermore, using camera is fast and efficient way to shoot material, therefore if I needed to shoot urgent footage then using a digital camera enabled me to do this. This is due lack of Digital Cameras in the Deparment. The tripod also enabled me to track when appropriate without making the shots too shaky and adjust the height so we could either shoot from a low angle or high angle.
SOFTWARE
The software I used for both of my productions was Adobe Photoshop, and I used a wide range of effects in order to manipulate the images taken from my camera onto Photoshop. The camera I used to take my photographs is a Canon EDS 40D, Digital SLR” and I was able to photograph great images of my main character in many different situations. I had to take about 150 different pictures to find the right one. For example, on Photoshop I used effects such as watercolour in artistic filler pallet to create more mood and emphasis on the mask that my main character is wearing. Also, using different layers I have created the dark effect using a motion blur tool, and the brightness and contrast tool I darkened selected areas of background in the poster and magazine cover.
The use of digital cameras allowed me to take appropriate shots so I could then process them onto my evaluation. Also, Youtube allowed embedding videos of similar genre into my evaluation for comparative purposes. Therefore, this shows how important technologies are in being able to compare my products with others so I can see where I need to improve my products. The use of embedding also allowed me to upload appropriate music videos onto my blog for the planning stages of my movie trailer, poster and magazine cover.

Audiance Feed Back
I have mentioned throughout my blog the opinions of my target audience but have not fully explained the process I ran to gain this feedback. There were two main stages to my audience feedback, that during the production and post-production stages of the coursework and once the coursework had been completed. Though it is important that I specify what I mean by the term 'target audience' which I shall use throughout this post and I have already used throughout this blog as a whole. The target audience is who the actual film this advertising package is aimed at, and therefore all three tasks must appeal to. The target audience I identified for my film, a horror with a mature theme, were of the age over 15, as that is the age rating the film would most likely achieve after the post-production stages. I also determined they would be primarily male, as in general darker hororr films tend to appeal to the male audience more than the female, though this is a very narrow split and a broad statement to make. Further more they would be attracted to the possible tension and darkness of the production, so tried to portray this in the advertising package I produced. This brief overview of the target audience I aimed my coursework towards applies to all three tasks, however the the front cover of the film magazine had a slightly bigger target audience. Though I determined they would have the same target audience as it is the same film, it is more specific to film enthusiast's who are interested in 'spoilers' and further news, interviews and details about a film prior to its release
Audience its really important factor in the movie and its really important what they think about your movie. I have selected 10 people and showed them my poster, magazine and my movie and asked them to write down what they think about the those 3 products. By doing this i will see what quality my products are and generally what people think about my movie which is really important. Another thing is that this is random audience and i don't know what kind of movies they like and what they will say which will be quite useful for me.
I have asked 3 of my friends what they think of my movie poster and magazine they have given me some feed back. This feedback could be a step forward if we wanted to change some scenes around.
Alex Chung
Alex Chung is happy with the poster and the colours one thing he doesn't like its the colours which i Will have to disagree with as i think the colours suit the movie and the theme of the movie perfectly. The lighting must be be fine because that's the perfect connotation of the horror movie. Also he liked the scene where the girl is getting beaten up with the bat but on the other hand he said there was some problems with the zooming which i will have t disagree with again as i perfectly got the zooming parts how i wanted them. Over all I'm pleased with what Alex said about the movie trailer and I'm happy with the tips he gave me to improve my video.
Iwan Wu
Iwan Wu is happy with the magazine cover as he thinks its exceptional and he sounds really pleased about it becouse i think magazine cover is one of mine strongest products. He aslo mentioned that the cover is the one of the best ones he's seen so far. Iwan does not like the movie trailor much and he saying that there is some dark scenes. I would say yes they are dark buti wanted to make them dark becouse its a horror movie and it needs to be as scary as possiable. He also talks about th actor and how u dont see him, this is becouse i wanted to make him not to be seen much, the whole point is for him not to bee seen much becouse people should not know that he exists.Colour was not faided! Over all i was happy with Iwans comments although there was some negative ones.

Marco liked the combination of the titles how i kept the titls the same everywhere. Thats wht ive been trying to do through out the whole project, keep things the same and unique. Conventions i have made he is saying that they realy emphisise the horror movie which is good and exactly what ive been trying to do. Marco is also not happy with the trailer but hes saying that it still lets people know what the trailer is all about, which for me is exactly what i want. Overall im happy that Marco said that he likes the way i put the titles together and kept them te same which is really important for me.
I have also ask those three what they think of the title Jusice:

- Simple and Catchy
- Something will be brought to Justice

Music
Music is the cruial part of the Movie trailor. I have used mixture of two sound at the biginning there is like a surprising sound so the audiance pays attention to the trailor where 3/4 throu the sound drops and sounds like a hearth beat just to slow everything down and make it more intimidating. It is crucial that the music is fited the right way into the video because the way the music cound and if the video is moving according to the music it would be a nice fit and the sound and the music will mach and create a good trailor.
My other option was to put in faster music which i have tryed but it doesnt mach my vidio and i changed it. The reason it didnt mach my video is becouse the video was too slow for the music also the music kind of did fit the horror genre.

Creating a Movie
Crating a movie was not an easy task. I had to get around everyone who is suppose to be in the movie dress them and tell them what they have to do. When making my movie i have chosen to do it in the dark enviroment where you can see little and everything comes out of surprise. I have created the movie on the basis that everything its surpriseing and that people wont know what is going to happen.
Before i have started recording my movie i had to make some resarch and see what actuall real horror movie trailors are like. this concluded of looking at some trailers and taking notes on them. I had a look of the 3 movie trailors that i liked:
The Grudge II
I have chosen to look at this trailer becouse its really different and it concetrates on the little scary gild which keeps popping out everywhere. Thats the thing i wanted to do with my movie and show that my main character is everywhere and that hes killing people. Also the angles and the closeups i really liked i have used in my movie. Another thing that i really liked is that everyone is scared of that little girl and they are scared of her. Where in the other hand in my movie people actually dont know he exists.
Psycho
What i like about this trailer is that the actuall Psycho is not showen. the whole thing is really discrete and hidden. I tryed to make it look like the people dont know who the killer is just like in this tralier. Also i like the changes of camera angles and the way camera changes from part to part of the movie. Also the way that the scenes are not so short.
Saw 3
I was amazed with the Saw 3 trailor as it changes cameras so quickly and doesnt really let people know or see what is going on. This is what really attracted me to see this movie and i think other people as well. What i have realised is that they have not showed anything major to do with the actuall movie and the actuall movie is totaly about something different what they've shown in the trailor.

Creating a Magazine Cover
I have resarched some of the major magazine covers which i have taken into considiration when making my magazine. i have looked at the verious versions of ''Movie'' and ''Empire'' magazines. This has given me one step forward becouse i had an idea of how im gona do my magazine cover. Here below are some expaples of what i have looked at:
Batman, The Dark Night
This cover has Batman in the middle which is spot on recognizeable and everyone can see that is Batman. That was my aim as well to put the face of my main character in the middle of the page so it catches peoples eyes. In this poster i also like how the text is placed and also how there isnt much of it.
Tron Legacy
I like this cover becouse again the main character again is in the middle of the poster. Especially in this one i like the way the title above his head is placed and at the bottom the way the movie name is place. One thing i dont like is the text on the side that goies on his face. By this time my idea is put put my character in the middle of the page tittle at the top and movie name at the bottom. Also i did not like where they put the barcode, but my conclusion after looking at the many magazine covers is that magzines dont look where they put thair barcodes as long as the cover looks good.
King Kong
I dont really like this cover but i just wanted to use it as an example of what im not gona do. i realised that putting small picture around lots of text is not very good becouse its not eye catching. Also its not very attractive i did not like the way they put the yellow text as well, i dont think it goes with the King Kong connotations. Also there is no where to be seen the Gorila which is famous to be in the King Kong movie. im trying to say that is not representing anything.
Star Trek
I have really liked this cover as its really simple i was planning to do my cover and looking something like this. I also had to make it the reasonable size so it fits the cover. All i had to do is import the file into the photoshop where i was making the magaizne and put it in the right place.

I have found this fond on the internet, all i had to do is type in JUSTICE and then it will come up with the the word JUSTICE in the fond that i desired. All i had to do then is copy it into the Fireworks place and then i had to do some adjusments to it. change to colour and size. then i copyed it to the PS and put it in the right place. I like the simplisity of this fond and title.

Creating a Poster
Crating a Poster was not an easy task it took me long time to resarch some movies and to find a right look a like cover to the mine. i have started of looking at some movies such as:
• Saw 3
• Crazies
• Psycho
• Wrong Turn
• The Grudge
• The Ring
These are the major movie poster i have looked at and i took some ideas from. It was not simple to do this as i had my own idea in my head and seeing all this posters it helped me put my idea together.
Saw 3
Saw 3 poster gave the expression that a major thing is that the face is shown at the front cover and its reli emphisesed. this gave me a some idea what my cover will look like.
Crazies
Crazies gave me the right idea of what i need to do. this poster gave me that simple poster looks even nicer and more attractive than the one with lots of writting on it. I also like the mask in the middle and the shadow of the other person on the red eye. alo the way the shadow is covering some part of the mask. This poster really made me confident in making the simple poster.
Psycho
I didnt particulary like this poster but one thig i liked abou it is that hole with blood on it. It gives u right connotations of what movie is all about. Also the knife in the picture and the old house shiw me that isimporant to show the right connotations so you attract the right audiance for your movie.
Wrong Turn
This poster is covered in blood and death scenario. this poster gave me an idea of how i should put the main two characters in the poster. my idea was just to put the main character and make it as simple as possible.
The Grudge
The Grudge made a complite picture for me. I was impressed by this poster as its really simple and it makes an effect on the audiance. This poster is really eye catching. The bit that i like the most is the face in the middle with the small writting a side. This poster looks like a real poster for a good horror movie. I aslo like the fact that is really simple.

This is my final design i have changed the text compare to the other design i have changed the text also i have deleted the red colour in the letters and made the JUSTICE bigger. my main focus was to make it as simple as possible which in my view i have managed to do. Not as simple as the poster for ''The Grudge'' above which was my main priority to make it look like that but at the end i thought it would look to simple. I think that poster now its attractive and will suduce the audiance to come and see the movie which is the main purpose of the poster.

Tools and Equipment
It is really important that we use right equipment for recording and editing also right software for crating the poster and magazine cover. No matter what you create in media you are going to need good quality equipment, otherwise you not going to get a good quality product. To create a teaser trailer, poster and magazine front cover your going to need a few essential pieces of hardware.
Vidio Camera
This is a standard Panasonic Camera which can be used for recording anything.Simllar to the SLR camera for photos, you need an HD video camera in order to get high resolution clips that will give you a professional look. There is nothing worse than a film that blurry or out of focus.
Camera
Its important to use a good SLR camera otherwise you will not get high resolution photos. When it comes do editing your photos and combining more than one image together if your not using images at a high resolution they will become very blurred when you try to re size or manipulate them. This wold give your work a very unprofessional look. So its very important to use a good SLR camera to insure that you get those high resolution images.
Video Studio Pro X2
This is an editing software.This helped me put my movie together. Using this software i had the ability to cut scenes, put special effects, add text, put shadings, have diffrent colours in the bacground and lots of other things. I can say that using VSP i had a pretty hard expiriance as it was really hard and complicated to do some of the stuff. Sometimes i would have lost my work for no particular reason. But over all i think i have created a reasonable trailor and i would use VSP again
Adobe Photoshop CS5
Photoshop was the most usefull software when i was creating the poster and the magazine it gave me the options to manipulate with the pictures put shades in hve different types of options to crop out anything i want and put it in its right place with no trouble and major difficulties. It aslo helped me a lot with the magazine as i was able to move the text around really easy. I can say that PS allowed me to crate the cover and the magazine cover preety quick, simple and without much struggle.
YouTube
Youtube was a really important part of my resarch i have used youtube to look at other real trailors and conduct my one upon them. You tube made it possible for me to actually analyse other trailors, look at the camera shots look at the shadings, scene changing and voice overs. This made it possible for me to create my trailor to t best of my abilities.
Google
Google was an important part of my resarch as i used google to resarch different movies t see what is important to have in the movie trailor. Google made my job much easier becouse i could find anything i want on and it will shorted my timedoing something i dont know how to do.

Poster
The poster was a really difficult matter to deal with. I have researched many posters that are horror movie posters and all of them have different views on how they will portray its movie. The movie poster has to be really good as its going be presented to audience before the movie comes out and during the movie being at cinemas. There is a strong link between posters and the audience because if a potential customer sees a good attractive poster he might go and see that movie, if the poster looks different and not attractive the person might not want to go and see that movie that’s why the movie poster has to be very suitable and presentable. In my opinion good poster has to have 5 attributes that will make the poster complete
1. Does the job quickly
2. It gets attention
3. Its convincing
4. It effectively uses color
5. It is simple
Posters job is to communicate with audience quickly and efficiently. Many people think they have to put as much as possible in their poster which is not true. However, trying to put too much information, or too many images, into your poster will make it look complicated and cluttered. A cluttered poster cannot talk to its audience quickly, which stops it from doing its designated job. A good poster is simple and effective. It tells everyone who looks at it what they are supposed to know right away. Considering my poster which I tried to make as simple as possible just because I think that if there is too much information presented it will not be as effective and attractive.
A good poster is attractive enough to bring and attract targeted audience. Poster has to have to all main elements included into the poster that will talk your targeted audience and make them look at the poster and get the information you want them to have. It is always good to put on the poster something that will bring attention to the audience such as catchy quotes such as my one ‘When the crime is society there is no justice’. Also some interesting information can be put in that relates to the movie. You can also include a picture or image that is attention grabbing and in the same time that is doing its purpose.
As we already said, I do not want to include too much information in my poster. However, I had to give readers enough to convince them that what I’m saying is accurate. I used short but strong statements to back up my claims because picture and the title it’s not good enough to convince the audience to see the movie. I was also careful not to put too much information in there in case I confuse the audience. Also very careful that I don’t put anything in the poster that I cannot claim or defend. Sometimes it is best just to use what u need to get message across to your audience.
Black and white posters are not nearly as effective as color posters. A poster that uses color into its scheme will attract many more viewers. Full color poster is much more powerful and will have a much stronger impact on audience. Color should be used in a strategic way and not just played around with; however, using the wrong colors could backfire on the movie as it might not represent the movie the right way. E.g. for a horror movie like mine its common sense that I have to use dark colors such as black, there is blood in my movie so I will use a little bit of red to emphasize the death.

This priest likes bringing people to his own justice as he doesn’t really believe the God is bringing enough justice to the world so he decides to bring little girls to justice. During an ordinary day he is just a normal priest who is very popular in its local community and people really like him. The fact that he is really lonely at nigh it changes him and he becomes really dangerous for everyone.
The begging of the trailer will be a shot of just an ordinary priest but then it changes to the shot of him being a killer. Than later will show the picture of the girl that he’s obsessed with and that’s his main target which is very hard for him to reach. In a mean time while he watches over that girl he decides to do his ordinary job and kills other girls to entertain himself while catching his main target. But the main target it’s not so easy to catch so the priest makes some mistakes and ends up dead instead of that girl. The most important thing is that he will be posses the whole time by these girls and he will not let the public discover that his is a killer in the society and community where everything is quite and peaceful.
This is like in the movie ‘’Hot Fuzz’’ where the policemen goes from London to the really peaceful village and the people are being killed. But what that policemen ‘Simon Pegg’ finds out it’s the actual people in the community who are killing those people. Those people turn out to be priests/monks at the church. The interesting things are that local community was unaware that it was them committing those murders and he brings them to justice.

Casting/Actors/Costumes
It is really important that you have right actors for the right movie. For my movie I had to pick the right actors and the right environment for the movie placement also right time for it so it looks convincing. The connotations of the movie are really important because they have to fit the right genre of the movie. The movie is a horror movie and the main actor will mostly be dressed in some kind of dark costume to emphasise that he is the main person and to put eyes on him. Other actors will just use ordinary costumes as they are just normal people which are the victims in the movie. Other important thing is that the actors have to wear costumes that fit in right environment in other words they have to be acting right and be in the right costumes to suite different connotations.
The other rather important thing is that all actors must act promptly and accordingly to the movie genre. This is really important because if the actors are not acting right, not moving according to the genre, even the way they talk and behave has to be according to the genre otherwise the movie genre will not be met and audience will not be pleased and what they see because it will be a different movie to what they wanted to see. The actor must be a sharp observer of life and thoroughly trained in voice projection and enunciation and in body movement.
I have asked my actors to act in the specific one; it could be described as formal but arrogant and scary. This is due to the genre of the movie and the way they should suit the story board of the movie. I chose to have a priest who looks old and he will be the main character. Other characters will be Girls which he so possessed by. He wants to bring the girls to justice. This is why the acting is so important he needs to be just an ordinary person during the day but at night he changes and becomes someone that no one is expecting him to be. This is why the acting is so important he needs to be just an ordinary person during the day but at night he changes and becomes someone that no one is expecting him to be. This is why the acting is really important part of the movie. Girls acting will also be interesting as they have to scared most of the time when they see him. When he is torturing them girls have to really scared and frightened where he is so happy that he managed to capture the girl and bring her to his justice. It is also important that characters make it look as realistic as possible this is due audience thinking about this movie in the positive way.

It is really omportant that every movie is advartised and that its spread to its audiance as quickly as possible so they know what the movie is all about. there are different ways of advartising that can lead a movie to success. Some are better than the other must most of them are really efficent.

What is a teaser trailer and what purpose does it serve?

Trailer /Flow Chart
This trailer is about an ordinary priest who turns into a serial killer at night. This priest is all kind and nice during the day but at night he becomes really dangerous as he likes to bring justice. Basically he is a crazy priest. He is also obsessed with girls who do something wrong or something that he doesn’t like. He follows them around and kidnaps those takes to the church and kills them his own way on the altar. During the course of the trailer he will kill one other girl but there is a girl that he’s really obsessed with but it’s really hard for him to get to her. I will show the scene of him trying to kill her but that’s where the trailer stops because I will leave the audience envious as she might kill him.
Flow Chart for the Justice Movie
1. I will start the trailer with some kind of the scary text which will introduce the main character. It should be something like ‘’you think you know him’’.
2. Than the snapshot of the ordinary normal priest will show up in the church praying or serving the people in church. This will show how normal the priest is.
3. Then will we have another quote such as ‘’a normal priest’’ after the last shot then the next quote will be something like ‘’but do you really know him’’.
4. Here we will have a shot of the ordinary priest changing to the killer all dressed in black in the chapel with a bible and the knife in his hands.
5. The next quote could be something like ‘’he’s obsessed with punishment’’ just to get people in the move to know the person.
6. Now we will introduce this priest as going around and stocking this random girl he likes. He wants to find out everything about her before he kidnaps her and kills her his own way.
7. The next shot will show that the girl gets kidnapped. Just like taking her out just as she is going home.
8. The priest will take her to the church. He will lay her down on altar and say some of his really weird prayers before he takes his as he calls it ‘’holy knife’’ and kills her with it.
9. Then I’ll show the picture of the girl that he’s obsessed with. His mysterious girl.
10. The priest will manage to kidnap her and take her to the church where he will want to kill her but I will leave it like as we don’t know if he is going to manage to kill her.

• Church bells ringing
• Thunderstorms
• Snapshots of the church paintings/crucifixes

Story Board
Story Board
I started off with researching the genre of the movie that I was going to do. I chose the horror movie so I had a look at the following teaser trailers:
• Saw 3
• Crazies
• Psycho
• Wrong Turn
• The Grudge
• Drag me to Hell
• The Ring
These teaser trailers gave me the idea of how to create one. It showed me that in every trailer the good and quite important bits are shown but the actual story it’s not given away. It also thought me that there is a lot of quick takes I mean something like less than a second just to keep the trailer going and keep the audience envious. Also the music that is playing its matching it fits exactly on action that is going on in the teaser trailer. Sometimes there are voice over that explain to u what the movie is about which I find very interesting as the trailer leaves the audience thinking about it.
The Story board I have drawn is I have planned to record my movie like. There is about 20 scenes/quick takes that I will have to record to achieve what I have planned. My story board has some voice over’s and I’m keeping them very short such as 3 words maximum. Also all the takes will not be longer than 2 seconds except two of them where I have to show what the point of this teaser trailer is. The story board helps me keep track of what I’m going to record first but in my case it doesn’t have to be the same as in the story board.
